Rich and Jessica painstakingly worked to create a relaxing, intimate reception for their guests, and it was truly representative of who they are as a couple. They had a Caribbean band, signature drink, and countless details that made the party unique. Jessica's dad sculpted the beautiful lighthouses that adorned each table and each lighthouse was different-the detail in each was amazing!
This was probably one of our all time favorite BHI weddings! Wonderful couple, wonderful guests and a fun, memorable party! They even planned a cookout after the reception as a fun after party for all the wedding guests!
The beautiful lighthouses Jessica's dad created.

Crumb de la Crumb created the most delicious cake ever. Seriously.
The couple had choreographed their first dance and it was so much fun to watch!

The wedding party.

The gestures these two exchanged were so sweet, it was very evident how much they cared for each other.

The father-daughter dance gets me every time. I guess it's part of being a mom now. I just think it is one of those beautiful moments that becomes iconic in a woman's life.

After the reception we headed back to the beach house to get some more relaxed images of the bride and groom, minus the bride and groom wardrobe.

I love this image. I feel like it perfectly represents these two...taking a nap on the beach. All they need is a picnic blanket to complete the moment.

Jessica has the greatest smile!

Thanks Jessica and Rich for being so awesome and allowing us to be a part of your wedding day! You guys are the best!

Jessica and Rich (to be horribly cliche) were made for each other.
They are a uniquely compatible couple and very much in love. I believe this marriage has been seven years in the making. And with such a loving history built upon friendship and withstanding time and distance-it is truly going to be a lasting thing.
This two were a dream to photograph. They were up for just about anything and it allowed us to be as creative as we wished. A great couple and a beautiful day at Bald Head Island makes for some very happy photographers!
We started the day at this amazing beach house.
Bald Head Island is so beautiful. We love the opportunity to photograph there.
Jessica had this bell engraved for Rich with their wedding date on it. I think it is such a unique wedding gift.

The garter was a family heirloom.

Jessica and her maid of honor. I love moments like these on a wedding day.

Jessica and her oh-so-blue eyes.

Rich and Jessica chose to see each other before the ceremony-which we love! This is Rich seeing his bride for the first time.

These two hold hands (actually pinkies) this way when they want to say 'I love you' to each other without any one else knowing. I love it.

For the first time ever we actually were able to go in Old Baldy and photograph and despite the smell, it was well worth it.
This might be my favorite shot ever. They are so in love!

Waiting to walk down the aisle.

We stopped by a wildlife walk that these two frequent. Although it was bright we got some great shots and managed not to encounter any wildlife.

(10.30.09 @ 01:20 PM)Hannah and Casey have been such a joy to work with and we were super excited about their wedding day. The beautiful ceremony was held at St. Thomas Preservation Hall with a quick change over for the reception. The day was wonderful and we were so happy to be a part of it.

The guys saying a prayer before the ceremony.

Moments before the ceremony. Hannah is glowing.

The Alison did a fabulous job on the cake!

Absolutely beautiful photos of Hannah & Casey. Honestly, if I didn't already know them, I'd be certain they were models for your business. That said; I will remember your name for friends, family, etc..
I've no doubt that you have blessed them with photos, both for now and many yrs to come.
You are truly talented.
Thank you ladies! We have enjoyed photographing such a fun couple!
(10.27.09 @ 05:41 PM)Stephanie and Steve were married September 4th at Orton Plantation.
Everything about the day was lovely and they were a joy to photograph.
Our friend, Dave Holt did a super job officiating the ceremony.
We were able to get some wonderful images from the gardens and Orton and then from there we headed to Caffe Phoenix for the reception. It was a small, but intimate affair and Caffe Phoenix did a wonderful job hosting the event!
When shooting together, Kevin and I like to present our individual images as a complete body of work together. However, I thought it would be nice to show who shoots which images to give an overview of our individual perspectives at a wedding.
Enjoy!
Orton Plantation is beautiful and the chapel is so classic and sweet.

Lovely photos you guys! I think you both take breathtaking shots. Thanks again for doing such a wonderful job, and thanks also for recommending Dave and Jason to us. You helped make our day fabulous!
(10.04.09 @ 10:46 PM)What an amazing job done on a wonderful day....
(10.04.09 @ 11:18 PM)I got married a little over a year ago and my husband and I still have not gone on a honeymoon. We both work at Narconon drug rehab. I work 5 days a week and he works 6 days a week with very little vacation. Any suggestions on where we could go for an extended weekend trip for our honeymoon that is romantic? We should probably go soon or we won't go at all.
(10.12.09 @ 02:32 PM)Rochelle and Dana are amazing. They are gorgeous, down to earth, and fun loving and their wedding was a wonderful reflection of who they are as a couple. In fact, it was one of our all time favorite weddings. Seriously. They are really that fun.
We could not be happier for these two. We wish you guys the best and hope for lots of gorgeous Newsome babies to photograph one day :)
A sweet card Dana sent Rochelle. She did a decent job of holding back the tears.

Rochelle is traffic-stopping GORGEOUS.
This is Kevin's perspective.
This is my perspective.

I love Dana's expression.

We went to Fort Fisher after the ceremony and had a blast with the wedding party. Rochelle braved the rocks. Not sure why we make our brides walk over treacherous spot in high heels.
My angle.

They are such a beautiful couple

Kevin is a flare master.

I love ALL the dancing shots...just could not decide
