Southern weddings featured Ginger and Jeff's fabulous wedding on their blog yesterday and today!
Check it out here and here!

Mallory and Wiley are finally married! It has been quite an anticipated event, and we were so thrilled to be a part of their day! Mallory and Wiley are wonderful together. They are intuitive, kind, encouraging, and it is beautiful to watch how they care for each other. Theirs is the sort of relationship that could be found in the pages of an epic love story, it's truly that great. And speaking of epic, their wedding took place the day after the huge snow, which turned out to be the most snow we have received in a decade!
The ceremony and reception took place at St. Thomas Preservation Hall in downtown Wilmington, NC. We had the pleasure of working with:
Matt and Melissa Davis with Lifestage Films
A Beautiful Event, the flowers were lovely as always
Nicki Macrae, who designed a gorgeous cake
The ladies got ready at The Graystone Inn, it is such a beautiful bed and breakfast!

Mallory and her dad seeing each other for the first time

Mallory made a gorgeous bride!

Snow!

Mallory and Wiley chose to write their own vows and they were the by the far the most beautiful vows I have ever witnessed. I am not exaggerating when I say there was not a dry eye in the house!

It just so happened that Wiley's brother had this fabulous car parked where we were photographing, so of course we took full advantage. I am in love with these shots!

I love the window light in St. Thomas!

I love these images, the flare, the warmth, the couple!
These are the my favorite exit shots of all time! So much fun!

Thanks Mallory and Wiley for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day, it was fabulous from beginning to end! We are so very happy for you both!
We had the opportunity to do a shoot in the Orton Greenhouse, which is now open for weddings at Orton Plantation Gardens. The shoot took place the day after the monumental snow in Wilmington and we had a blast photographing the snowy grounds!
The ever gorgeous Rochelle and Dana were our amazing models and they rocked it out! Oh how we love Rochelle and Dana! And the lovely Mandy played the role of maid of honor...again :)
Fiore Fine Flowers provided the stunning flowers, we are huge Fiore fans! Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun day!

Rochelle, you are stunning.

Snowball fight awesomeness!

Mandy looking effortlessly lovely.
Besties for real.

Thanks again everyone, it was a blast!
We will be posting lots of wonderful images from the Orton show on Sunday soon!
John and Kelley are so much fun and we have been thrilled to be a part of their wedding process! They keep each other laughing constantly, and I find this adorable.
They had a beautiful candle light ceremony at St. Thomas Preservation Hall in historic Downtown Wilmington, NC. Their ceremony will forever be one of my favorites, it was such a intimate, romantic atmosphere.
We headed to Caffe Phoenix for a lovely dinner reception....and a party ensued.
Thanks to Beautiful Bouquets by Betty for such wonderful work! The flowers were simply outstanding!
And thanks to Rob with Forever DJ for rocking out the reception!
Kelley got ready at The Riverview Suites which overlook the Cape Fear River.

Kelley was a gorgeous bride!

Our brides have fabulous taste. Kelley ordered these beautiful hairpieces from Etsy.com

Kelley has such a sweet dad. He looks so captivated by his daughter.
Kelley carried a baby bonnet her mother made for her when she was an infant as a handkerchief

Isn't it so lovely?

I told you they were fun.

And they had fun guests! yay!

We must take a moment to gush about Hannah and Jessica at A Shindig Southern Event Planning! These gals are the best! They are a joy to work with because they keep their brides really happy...and happy brides are easy to photograph!
