Ross and Kristina were married on June 4th at Bald Head Island. We (Kevin, Jennifer P. and Jennifer H.) had a great time riding around the island photographing the great couple and their special day. The ceremony was held at Bald Head Island Chapel, such a beautiful venue! The reception followed at the BHI Club, where Kristina and Ross were able to relax and enjoy each other and their guests for the rest of the night.

Compliments to Wendy Wright from A Beautiful Event for the lovely flower arrangements.

Kristina's incredible dress was designed by Amsale.

I loved her hair flower, it tied everything together nicely!

Great expression of Ross when he first sees Kristina!

I also just about teared up after seeing Kristina's expression when visiting with family and friends right after the ceremony.

The bridesmaid's dresses, designed by J. Crew, complimented the guy's suits very nicely, which were designed by Jos. A. Bank.

We had a great time taking pictures around the lighthouse. Ross and Kristina are so great together!

The guys broke out their sunglasses... great touch for fun photographs!

They are so cute! We had a blast out on the beach.

Kristina and Ross had such a great idea to take photographs with these large poster board cards to use as thank you notes for their family and friends.

This is so much fun, I love all the different expressions!

La Rita Lees from Carolina Cakes and Confections designed this gorgeous cake.

The groom's cake was just precious!

They danced the night away, thanks to DJ Jay Tantum from Active DJ Entertainment.

Danny and Beth are adorable and we had a wonderful time at their beautiful Bald Head Island wedding! We had some awesome additional shooters for the day as well, Jennifer Priddy and Jennifer Hiatt-better known to us as 'The Jennifers.' :) You will get to see some of their fabulous work in the very near future, be excited!
We had too much fun roaming around the island on our six person golf cart and hanging out with Danny and Beth. These two were so wonderful together and graciously put up with the "paparazzi" that followed them around all day :)
Beth had such an ease about her the whole day, even in stressful situations. Beth's mom had a bad fall early on in the day while decorating and had to rush off the island to get stitches. However, this incident didn't put a damper on the day or Beth's attitude at all, and Beth's mom was back in plenty of time for the wedding. It was so lovely to be around such positive, laid back people for the day.
Thanks Beth and Danny for being amazing and thanks for letting us take part in your wedding day!
The details of the day were so cute! There were parasols, pashmina scarves, and fans for the guests-all in shades of blue.
Beth's mom made the pretty streamers.

Beth and Danny chose to see each other before the wedding ceremony in order to get lots of pictures around the island. This is their first sight of each other, so sweet!
We went back out on the beach and battled the wind, quite literally for some shots. But I'm so thankful Danny and Beth were okay with being pelted by sand, because the images we got are well worth it!
I love this image and it gives a little insight into how windy it was.
Bald Head Island Catering provided the food, and my mouth waters just thinking about how delicious it was!
We finished the day with a outfit change and some sweet images in a little hammock.
This might be my favorite from the day.
What would a wedding be without a bicycle exit? The cuteness is almost too much :)
We must take a moment to gush about Hannah and Jessica at A Shindig Southern Event Planning! These gals are the best! They are a joy to work with because they keep their brides really happy...and happy brides are easy to photograph!
They are attentive to the smallest of details and they always aim to create a unique look for each wedding. We heart them.
So to all you beautiful brides in the midst of wedding planning chaos...call them. Do it. Now.
This lovely set up was designed around the theme "The Big Apple."

Very elegant and classy! The colors really pop. Nice job, ladies~
(01.29.10 @ 11:13 PM)We had the pleasure of photographing Derek and Renata's wedding on Topsail Beach, NC.
These two are a delight and we are thrilled to walk away with some wonderful new friends! They will be returning to Renata's native country, Brazil, for a fabulous Brazilian reception sometime next year. Kevin and I are hoping to be smuggled over in their luggage to take part in what is sure to be a wonderful time!
Derek and Renata have amazing families that are both loving and strong. Without question, it has helped to shape them in to the beautiful people they are today. It was a joy to be around such gracious people.
Derek, his brothers, and father, have a wonderful family owned fencing company, Hampstead Fence. They built an awesome fence for us, and we definitely recommend their services to anyone in need of a fence!
I was able to stay with the beautiful girls, while Kevin went to see the guys.

Renata is gorgeous. And being that she is Brazilian, she has a double threat of Brazilian gorgeousness. She is a natural girl, laughing easily and often; and even if you have only just met her, you feel as though she is an old friend.

She has a hard time not laughing.

About to walk down the aisle, so much joy!

These next two images are so sweet. Derek and Renata wrote their own vows and they were very moving. Derek was saying his vows first, and getting pretty choked up in doing so. After he finished, Renata pulled him to her and kissed him on the cheek-it was such a beautiful moment.

I think this image is so touching.

Are they not adorable?

Renata's parents traveled from Brazil to be a part of her wedding day. I loved their father-daughter dance-it gives a brief glimpse into their relationship. Just beautiful.

Congrats you guys, we are thrilled for you!!!
These pictures are the most beautiful I have ever seen :)
You guys did a fabulous job and I'm sooooo happy for them.
Blessings on you guys,
Haffa
Oh my Gosh!! You guys are amazing!!! The pictures are incredible, such a good job. I will not take no for an answer you guys are going to Brazil to photograph there too!! Thank you so much!!! We love you guys.
(12.03.09 @ 12:06 PM)We were so excited to shoot Ryan and Stephanie's wedding. They had booked us well over a year in advance and as October drew near, we started counting down the days until their wedding.
These two fit so well together! You can tell that they not only know each other deeply and completely, but that they also know themselves as individuals. That is the stuff that makes marriage work. And they are fun. I mean really, truly, make you laugh because they are laughing, fun. They were a delight to work with!
Lauren had the pleasure of photographing the ladies getting ready before the ceremony.

I love this shot. The bridesmaids helping Stephanie get dressed, the light coming in from the window-just lovely.

Ryan was so excited to get married!

The moment a groom sees his bride for the first time is one of my absolute favorites! I think Ryan's face sums up the amount of emotion in that moment.

I told you they were fun :)

These two created an "evolution of dance" for their first dance, it was hilarious!

And the best yet, they left on a sail boat!
Congrats guys, we are so happy for you!
