Our little girl is getting so very big! She just had her big one year birthday, and I simply can't believe it! She is officially walking everywhere and getting dangerously fast. She is growing into a toddler and is so very cute in the process :)

I never could have imagined how crazy beautiful parenthood would be. Simply put, Maggie is the best thing in our lives. There are definitely tough days and sleepless nights and I think I may have seen five or so gray hairs on Kevin's head- But my-oh-my when that girl smiles the sun couldn't out shine her.

This set of images is from months 10 and 11, I simply can't keep up with how fast time is moving!

Enjoy!
This was the first time she stood unassisted for a good 10 seconds. It was impressive.

This is one of my all time favorite images of my girl. She looks angelic.
Ok, and I love this one equally! Look at those blue eyes :)

Sleepy Maggie, upon waking.
Trying to climb out.

I don't even remember why she was crying, but those bottom teething sure are cute!
She likes to climb in and out of everything. She will most likely be a daredevil by age two...pray for me.

She is a curiously little girl. And pine straw is pretty cool.

The disaster formerly known as our living room.

Maggie got her first taste of strawberry goodness recently at our local strawberry patch, Lewis Farms. She was hooked immediately. So much that when we pried the very muddy strawberry from her very muddy grip she had a melt down. It was highly amusing.

Enjoy!

Yes I know, pesticides and blah, blah, blah, but it was just one time :)

Oh yes folks, it was a hot mess.

I find this image hilarious. Maggie is mad that we won't let her eat more strawberries, I am laughing at her expense.

I had to hose her down in the sink. It was really that bad.

Strawberry mustache.

April was a great month for weddings, and we had the pleasure of photographing another beautiful couple. Sarah and Zac were so sweet, and their pictures show just a little of how amazing they were to work with.
They got married downtown at First Presbyterian Church and then moved the party down to Wrightsville Beach. Bluewater Waterfront Grill had a great atmosphere, and provided even better food.
The Imitations kept the fun going, with some amazing music and a wonderful, energetic performance.
Coastal Cupcakes provided the sweet treats, which looked almost as good as they tasted.

All in all, it was a great event. Congratulations to Sarah and Zac! And thank you for being such a fantastic couple.

The kids were so patient and so cute as they waited to walk down the aisle.

Sarah blowing kisses-this shot is so her personality, I love it!

We headed to the beach to photograph the Sarah and Zac before the reception. It was a bit hazy, but I love the soft light in these images.

What a fun time we had at the Cameron Art Museum's Wedding Open House! It is a great location for brides to consider for the 2010-2011 wedding season.

We were joined by some amazing wedding vendors:
Social Butterfly Events and A Shindig Southern Event Planning showed their awesome skills by doing the table-scapes.
Heather Ivy-Sutterfield, the woman in charge over at Cameron, tapped into her creative side as well and designed a few of the tables.
Moxie Floral Design Studio, Island Florals and Verzaal's Florist added their special touches by creating the gorgeous centerpieces.

Thanks to Cameron Art Museum for holding the event, and thanks to all the wonderful vendors for making the day beautiful!
