Amy and Gary...sigh.
I must take this opportunity to unabashedly gush about Amy and Gary.
They are kind and genuine and when you are around them you can feel their love for each other and their love for those around them-it's truly tangible.

We found that we could get Amy to light up with a huge smile whenever we mentioned Gary's name, which we cleverly used to our advantage. And when the two of them were together they both glowed with joy.

From the first time we met Ms. Amy Davenport (teacher extraordinaire at Trask Middle School), she continually reiterated that all she wanted was to get married...that was the most important thing to her. She wasn't concerned with all the frills and minor details that can clutter a wedding day, all she wanted was to marry the man she loved. There was something very refreshing about their wedding day, something simple and pure because that is what their love for each other is-simple and pure.

Right now they are gallivanting around Italy and we hope they are having the time of their lives! Best of luck to you both...and lots of babies :)

The wedding and reception took place in South Port, NC and they day was absolutely beautiful! After the reception, we did some hill climbing on vacant land that overlooked the water...and I must say, the setting was perfect.
South Port has so many beautiful, ancient Oak trees. I love how the trees are framing them.
