Back in May we had the privilege of shooting Lindsay and Dave's fabulous wedding.
They are such a fun couple, and great to work with.
There were a lot of little touches (like Lindsay's parasol) that made the day so special.

We were also able to reunite with some amazing vendors:
Nicki Macrae at Nicki's Cakes made the delicious (and gorgeous) wedding cake.

And Lifestage Films lent a hand to make the wedding video.

Thanks so much to Lindsay and Dave for letting us be a part of your big day!

Amber from About Face Makeup made Lindsay's already beautiful face even more radiant.
I think this is so cute! Lindsay had the same parasol at her Bridal session, just without the 'K'. It's such a great touch.

Like many brides, Lindsay changed into a different dress for the reception.
It's a good thing too! She and Dave really know how to bust a move :)
We've had so many brides with colorful shoes lately. Lindsay definitely rocked the blue!

Jennifer Priddy and I had the pleasure of photographing Mary Beth and Zach's lavish wedding in Myrtle Beach, SC. Mary Beth and Zach are a truly wonderful couple and we enjoyed being a part of their wedding day.
Gorgeous flowers by Mark Gladden

The reception was held at The Marina Inn at Grand Dunes

The Craig Woolard Band
provided some stellar entertainment for the night!

Hart to Heart Media did a great job on the videography.

Mary Beth's invitations, programs and other stationary were designed by the former White House Calligrapher! It's no wonder she had such a high profile position when the work is this beautiful.

I love the light in this image. Great job Jennifer!

I'm so jealous that Mary Beth and Zach got to ride in this snazzy car to the reception.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Zach Hayes. You are a beautiful couple!

Ross and Kristina were married on June 4th at Bald Head Island. We (Kevin, Jennifer P. and Jennifer H.) had a great time riding around the island photographing the great couple and their special day.  The ceremony was held at Bald Head Island Chapel, such a beautiful venue!  The reception followed at the BHI Club, where Kristina and Ross were able to relax and enjoy each other and their guests for the rest of the night.

Compliments to Wendy Wright from A Beautiful Event for the lovely flower arrangements.

Kristina's incredible dress was designed by Amsale.

I loved her hair flower, it tied everything together nicely!

Great expression of Ross when he first sees Kristina!

I also just about teared up after seeing Kristina's expression when visiting with family and friends right after the ceremony.

The bridesmaid's dresses, designed by J. Crew, complimented the guy's suits very nicely, which were designed by Jos. A. Bank.

We had a great time taking pictures around the lighthouse.  Ross and Kristina are so great together!

The guys broke out their sunglasses... great touch for fun photographs!

They are so cute!  We had a blast out on the beach.

Kristina and Ross had such a great idea to take photographs with these large poster board cards to use as thank you notes for their family and friends.

This is so much fun, I love all the different expressions!

La Rita Lees from Carolina Cakes and Confections designed this gorgeous cake.

The groom's cake was just precious!

After the ceremony we were able to spend some time photographing Amy and Chris around Airlie Gardens, it was delightful :)

This shot involved a very, very tall ladder, a nervously hanging over the edge photographer, and a wide lens :) So much fun!

Fiore Fine Flowers hit a home run with the elegant flowers and design!

Both Amy and Chris are very well traveled. In fact, they went on an African Safari for their honeymoon!
Their cake was to resemble a croquembouche which is a traditional French wedding cake made of cream filled pastries. I thought it was a fabulous touch!

I love the emotion in this shot!

This was an epic moment for me, one that I have never before seen attempted at a wedding. Two wedding guests were playing double dutch with an imaginary rope, and people would take turns hopping in and jumping rope. This shot is of Amy and Chris jumping in to take a turn at double dutch. It was sheer awesomeness!

Amy and Chris, you guys are the best! I hope that your African honeymoon was as wonderful as your wedding! All the best!
